Musikgarten's program recognizes that the first seven years of a child's life are most critical in the developmental process.  The curricula provides children with a broad based-based musical experience incorporating, singing, moving, listening, and playing instruments.  Such "play" teaches active listening, develops balance, control, and coordination, encourages social interaction, and stimulates the imagination.  Musikgarten's goal is to foster intellectual growth while laying the foundation for more formal music education as the child matures.  The benefits of the curricula are incalculable in the child's psychological, physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development.
